FBT’s Alsfeld Speaks at Film Conference
New Orleans, Louisiana. August 5th, 2010.
President and CEO of FBT Film and Entertainment Lenny Alsfeld will be speaking as a panelist at the 2nd Annual Film Finance Forum East. The theme of the convention is “Capitalizing on Viable Film Investments and Fund Opportunities” and will be held September 14 and 15, 2010 at The Metropolitan Hotel – New York, NY.
Mr. Alsfeld will be appearing on the Panel covering “Acquiring Soft Money in Hard Times.” This panel will offer expert opinions and advice on how producers can find financing for their entertainment productions when traditional sources of financing are not sufficient or available.
“In today’s market it’s getting harder and harder for producers to find funding,” says Alsfeld. “The big studios don’t generally have this problem. But the smaller or independent producers sometimes have to work very hard to find funding, especially when their regular channels don’t work. During our panel session we’ll discuss why this happens and potential solutions to the problem.”
The Film Finance Forum Series was created to serve as a means of having collaborative dialogue and interaction between film industry experts within the setting of a forum.
